Facebook Chat Messenger Now Available for Download

Facebook has come up with Facebook Chat Messenger – the arch rival “Google” strategy as a caution . Facebook and Google quarrel seems to be endless, but it is turning out good for the audience and users as More Competition = More Luxuries and Features .
Facebook rolled out its Facebook Chat Messenger – a desktop IM client to chat with the friends without going to Facebook website . The Facebook Messenger for Windows was the only drawback of Facebook and coming up with it , it has filled that gap too .

Just run the Setup and Install Facebook Chat Messenger for Windows .
The Facebook Chat Messenger for Windows is in beta stage and is not a stable version so there are lot of bugs in it. The best part about the Facebook Chat Messenger for Windows is that it is no longer needed to go to Facebook website to chat with friends and even though we aren’t on website, the chat is on . The second best part is that the Facebook Chat Messenger remains active and online even after minimising . The floating notifications look professional and are a great add on to the messenger.
Once downloaded the Facebook Chat Messenger use “Exit ” button to exit application but still remain logged in and receive floating notifications . Use “Logout ” option to logout of account and stop receiving notifications and chats . The Facebook Messenger for Windows can also be put to right hand side of the window by choosing ” Dock Window to Right “.
Available Options in Facebook Chat Messenger
The buggy part about Facebook Chat Messenger is :
- While logging in for the first time, login button on the messenger wasn’t working . I had to login to facebook.com and then only got online on Facebook Chat Messenger .
- The availability status cannot be changed via Facebook messenger for windows. It says to first become available from chat box on Facebook.com and then only we’ll be available on facebook messenger for windows .
- The messenger is quite slow as compared to those of Yahoo Messenger and G talk .
- Various features like Group Talk, Voice Call and Conference are still missing .
PS : The Facebook Chat Messenger for Windows works only on Windows 7 .
Overall, it’s a nice attempt by Facebook to progress but the bugs are killing Facebook Messenger for Windows . This is going to be popular. A FB chat messenger is always looked forward to. However, the fact that it is slow is going to be an issue.
The slow fact is already an issue. Many are complaining about endless bugs . FB It’s time for a better chat messenger.
