Finally Samsung has announced about projector phone which is the Samsung Galaxy beam. It was announced by Samsung during February 2012 and likely release this month i.e. July 2012. Samsung followed the pre ordered statergy which worked great a the time off Samsung S3 and it is following the same in the case of Samsung Beam by already taking pre-orders for this Samsung Projector phone on its online store Samsung India eStore.
Nowadays, majority of projector phone that enter into the Mobile market aren’t up to that Standard but Samsung’s new release, ‘Samsung Galaxy beam – A projector Phone’ surprised everyone at the MWC 2012 due to its astonishing features and competitive price.
The projector phone is on its way to launch this month. While we’re heading close to the release date of Galaxy Note 2 , let’s take a look into all its features.
Samsung Galaxy Beam Specifications and Features
- Display: Samsung Galaxy Beam features a 4.0 inch TFT LCD Touchscreen Display. The phone features a 480 x 800 Pixels Resolution.
- Size: The dimensions of this phone are 124×64.2×12.5 mm and the device weighs around 145 grams.
- Sound: The device has a 3.5 mm jack along with Loudspeaker.
- Memory: The phone has an Internal Memory of 8 GB. The device does has a Micro SD slot which is expandable up to 32 GB.
- Connectivity: Phone comes with a Bluetooth version 3.0 with A2DP, HS and microUSB version 2.0. Along with that, phone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot and GPRS, EDGE too.
- Camera: The phone features a 5.0 Megapixels front camera and a secondary camera of 1.3 Megapixels. Camera does has normal features like LED Flash, autofocus, Face Detection and Geo-tagging. The phone does video recording at 720p.
- Operating System and other specs: The phone runs on Android Operating System v2.3 (Gingerbread). The device is powered by Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 Processor and comes up with 768 MB of RAM.
