Vivo on Monday launched a successor it’s offering by releasing Vivo V5 Plus officially in India. The 20 Megapixel Selfie Camera phone has been priced at 27,980 INR and will be going on pre-order from January 24.
The dual sim phone gears up with Vivo’s Funtouch OS3.0, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Vivo V5 Plus Features
Vivo V5 Plus runs on Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 with Adreno 506 GPU. The 5.5-inch phone has a PPI(pixel per density) of 1080X1920 pixels and curved glass of 2.5 Dioptre. The capacitive multi-touch touchscreen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The prime offering of Vivo V5 Plus is a f/2.0 20 MP and 8 MP dual camera with the Sony IMX376 1/2.78-inch sensor. The camera shoots crystal clear selfies with a depth of field and can click bokeh photos. The rear camera is f/2.0 16MP camera with LED flash and autofocus.
Vivo V5 Plus features include dual sim card slot. The phone has an internal memory of 64 GB coupled with 4GB RAM. The memory can be extended up to 256 GB via a MicroSD Card.
The phone has a fingerprint sensor embedded the home button on the front. The phone supports 4G LTE. The connectivity options of Vivo V5 Plus features include Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi and Hotspot.

Vivo V5 Plus sports a metal unibody design. It runs on a Non-removable Li-Ion 3055 mAh battery. The phone embodies a dual charging technology.

Vivo V5 Plus – First Impressions
The Chinese smartphone maker has put in another bet on the middle top segment of the smartphone battle. The phone looks to be a powerful device and a device for a photo enthusiast but lacks rational approach with respect to its pricing. The battery could have been tipped up and the same applies to overall Vivo V5 Plus specifications.
